"Benazir Bhutto (IPA: [beːnəziːr bɦʊʈːoː]; English IPA: /ˈbɛ.nə.zɪr ˈbu.toʊ/;[1] 21 June 1953 – 27 December 2007) was a Pakistani politician who chaired the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), a centre-left political party in Pakistan affiliated to the Socialist International. Bhutto was the first woman elected to lead a Muslim state, having been twice elected Prime Minister of Pakistan.
Bhutto was the eldest child of former prime minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, a Pakistani of Sindhi descent and Shia Muslim by faith, and Begum Nusrat Bhutto, a Pakistani of Iranian-Kurdish descent, of similarly Shia Muslim by faith. Her paternal grandfather was Sir Shah Nawaz Bhutto, who came to Larkana Sindh before partition from his native town of Bhatto Kalan, which was situated in the Indian state of Haryana.
Bhutto was sworn in for the first time in 1988 at the age of 35, but was removed from office 20 months later under the order of then-president Ghulam Ishaq Khan on grounds of alleged corruption. In 1993 Bhutto was re-elected but was again removed in 1996 on similar charges, this time by President Farooq Leghari. Bhutto went into self-imposed exile in Dubai in 1998.
Bhutto returned to Pakistan on 18 October 2007, after reaching an understanding with President Pervez Musharraf by which she was granted amnesty and all corruption charges were withdrawn. She was assassinated on 27 December 2007, after departing a PPP rally in the Pakistani city of Rawalpindi, two weeks before scheduled elections where she was a leading opposition candidate."
Benazir bhutto - first woman prime minister of pakistan has been assasinated at rawalpindi when a gunman shot her down in her neck and head and set off a bomb(suicide attck)
20 ppl has been killed in the assasination
Mushraf has asked his people to be calm but that is not happening
only god knows who is responsible for this
most political killing's reasons are always secret

Evano oruvan
I went to this movie today
i wasted 120 bucks over this stupid thing
we all go to a movie to enjoy
this is definitely not for enjoyment
this movie doesnt have a story
it is just about a middle class man who tend to change the things around him
the reactions to his deeds are clearly shown in the movie
okay then wat do they ask us to do???
it has no place for a story, its continuous crap without even a single song
even one can escape ragha's mokkai but not this one
so i cant talk about this movie

Castor and Pollux
I like to read Greek mythology
i came across a sentence stating
"Those who harm Pollux can never be safe from Castor"
i wondered who these people are and gave a Google search
and found who they were
"Castor and Pollux were the offspring of Leda and the Swan, under
which disguise Jupiter had concealed himself. Leda gave birth to
an egg, from which sprang the twins. Helen, so famous afterwards
as the cause of the Trojan war, was their sister.
When Theseus and his friend Pirithous had carried off Helen from
Sparta, the youthful heroes Castor and Pollux, with their
followers, hasted to her rescue. Theseus was absent from Attica,
and the brothers were successful in recovering their sister.
Castor was famous for taming and managing horses, and Pollux for
skill in boxing. They were united by the warmest affection, and
inseparable in all their enterprises. They accompanied the
Argonautic expedition. During the voyage a storm arose, and
Orpheus prayed to the Samothracian gods, and played on his harp,
whereupon the storm ceased and stars appeared on the heads of the
brothers. From this incident, Castor and Pollux came afterwards
to be considered the patron deities of seamen and voyagers (One
of the ships in which St. Paul sailed was named the Castor and
Pollux.and the lambent flames, which in
certain sates of the atmosphere play round the sails and masts of
vessels, were called by their names.
After the Argonautic expedition, we find Castor and Pollux
engaged in a war with Idas and Lynceus. Castor was slain, and
Pollux, inconsolable for the loss of his brother, besought
Jupiter to be permitted to give his own life as a ransom for him.
Jupiter so far consented as to allow the two brothers to enjoy
the boon of life alternately, passing one day under the earth and
the next in the heavenly abodes. According to another form of
the story, Jupiter rewarded the attachment of the brothers by
placing them among the stars as Gemini, the Twins."
Greek Mythology has lots of bed time stories
isn't it?
i like Hercules the most and then Aeschylus

PS2 Games
It was very boring for me as usual
so i thought i should play some games
since my system is outdated in its graphics configuration
i dint even trouble installing games into it
obvious it wont work
maybe prince of Persia of DOS may work
hehe
anyways
I got PS2, though its nothing to the newest PS3 and XBOX360
but its everything for me
I went to a shop in Adyar near ambhika appallam depot and bought
3 PS2 games
Dont worry, its not original, cause you dont get original stuffs much here
even if you get, it ll be of the cost of the play station am playing
coming to the games
i bought
a) GTA Vice City Stories
Game is fine, it is about a soldier and his illegal deeds
its so simple
I liked it cause i like to ride these kinda bikes which are shown in this game
Man one time , i stole a bike from a police man and gunned him down
within a sec, i was rounded by the police jeeps
too bad, only in games police are very fast ;)
b)NFS PRO STREET
I love NFS
it rockx all time for me
but this game lacks story line
so i was quite disappointed, but its ok
i ll wait for the next one
until that i ll enjoy the game
some snaps:
Hey ppl, every wondered where those gorgeous looking females come from in our NFS???
here is the answer
This is Krystal Forscutt
"She doesn't drive or play video games, but former Big Brother contestant Krystal Forscutt has been chosen as one of two females to feature in the new Need For Speed racing game, ProStreet.
Forscutt, who since leaving the Big Brother house last year has modelled for men's magazines and appeared on celebrity singing show It Takes Two, will play a "flag girl" in the popular street racing title.
ProStreet, which is set for worldwide release in spring, will be available on virtually all gaming platforms, and Forscutt is relishing her shot at international exposure."
Keep this coming NFS ;)
c)Star wars Bounty Hunter
I like star wars, not bounty hunter
it was with regret i bought this game
i want jedi action, not gun stuff
am tired of that
and this game is too confusing
in half an hour play, it managed to give me headache
i am not impressed with this one
anyways you try it urselves

Turkish raid in northern Iraq by air
Read this ppl
"ANKARA (Thomson Financial) - Turkish aircraft on Sunday carried out fresh attacks on Kurdish rebels in northern Iraq, Turkey's Anatolia news agency reported, citing a spokesman for the Iraqi Kurdish Peshmerga security force.
Turkish fighter jets first carried out reconnaissance in the Qandil mountains near the border with Turkey and Iran, where Ankara says thousands of PKK rebels are based, before bombing certain positions, Anatolia cited spokesman Jabbar Yawar as saying.
Yawar told Turkish television channel NTV that three jets took part in the raid in the uninhabited Rawanduz area.
There was no immediate confirmation from the Turkish military.
On Saturday the Turkish military said its aircraft had attacked PKK positions in northern Iraq for the third time in less than a week, bombing and shelling them and warning more raids would follow.
The PKK, listed as a terrorist group by Turkey and many other countries, has waged a bloody campaign for Kurdish self-rule in southeast Turkey since 1984. The conflict has claimed more than 37,000 lives.
Turkey has been stepping up pressure since its parliament approved cross-border raids on PKK bases in October, with Ankara saying the Iraqi government and its US backers were not doing enough to halt attacks.
On Dec 16 the Turkish military said its aircraft attacked PKK positions in the Qandil mountains, which Ankara says the rebels use as a springboard for attacks on Turkey.
Two days later the Turkish army said troops penetrated into northern Iraq from the southeast Turkish province of Hakkari. Iraqi officials said about 500 Turkish troops took part in the ground operation."

Narendra modi - Some Interesting THings about him
Narendra Dāmodardās Modī is his full name
he has been elected as chief minister of Gujarat now
There is an interesting things about him...
"The Chief Minister of Gujarat state, Mr. Narendra Modi, applied for a diplomatic visa to visit the United States. On March 18, 2005, the United States Department of State denied Mr. Modi this visa under section 214 (b) of the Immigration and Nationality Act because he was not coming for a purpose that qualified for a diplomatic visa.
Mr. Modi's existing tourist/business visa was also revoked under section 212 (a) (2) (g) of the Immigration and Nationality Act. Section 212 (a) (2) (g) makes any foreign government official who "was responsible for or directly carried out, at any time, particularly severe violations of religious freedom" ineligible for a visa to the United States.
The Ministry of External Affairs requested that the Department of State review the decision to revoke his tourist/business visa. Upon review, the State Department re-affirmed the original decision."
"Mr Modi reportedly married a woman working as a teacher in a poor Muslim area about 100 kilometres (60 miles) from Gujarat's commercial capital, Ahmedabad."
I dont like politics and neither going to like it in future

Yesterday's Movie at INOX
Yesterday me and marc went to the movie "I am Legend" at INOX in city center
i booked the tickets online for 7.15pm show
marc said he would be arriving at 6.15 but cause of indian traffic jam, he
made it up at 6.35pm
we went to INOX with his discover DTSI, it was a nice ride
though not like my RX100 he he
we reached city center at 7.00pm
we were unable to find the theater
City Center has the worst infra structure ever
The escalators are placed at alternate places and definitely not at the places needed
at 7.10 we managed to find the theater and we bought pop corns and mirinda
which was given to me in a tray, which fell down and one of it got wasted
then we entered the theater , we got the seats E6 and E7
the first scene of the movie has gone
anyways i have seen that movie before that
so i explained marc about the missed part
and then at 8.30, interval
we bought 2 scoops mine is pineapple and marc's is grape
it was nice
then the interval got over
gr9, we missed another scene again
why cant these people put some slides or trailers???
then we watched the movie and got home at 10.00pm
and had a nice goodnite sleep :)
overall City Center Sucks, you can better go for satyam or mayajaal

“Life as it should be” is real fun on the Internet. You can direct your own small movie and afterwards send it to all your friends. Coke has found some old b/w film clips that you, as the director, can manipulate by using an easy voice recorder. You can write “the conversation” to your own clip and say what ever you want. Afterwards your movie competes with other movies to be the highest rated. This is living “life as it should be”. Beat your friends to it.

Hooded Pitohui
Hooded Pitohui
"The Hooded Pitohui, Pitohui dichrous is a songbird of New Guinea with black and orange plumage.
This species and its two close relatives, the Variable Pitohui and the Brown Pitohui, are the first documented poisonous birds. A neurotoxin called homobatrachotoxin found in the birds' skin and feathers, causes numbness and tingling in those touching the bird.
The Hooded Pitohui acquires its poison from part of its diet, the Choresine beetles of the Melyridae family. This beetle is also a likely source of the lethal batrachotoxins found in Colombia's poison dart frogs.
Common and widespread throughout New Guinea, the Hooded Pitohui is evaluated as Least Concern on the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species. "
I never knew that birds can be poisonous , now i have the proof for that
so i should handle cuttie birds with some precautions so that the bird i touch becomes to be "Hooded Pitohui" .......

3 Dramas I watch
1, HEROES
i like this one , actually i watched it at first cause of a south indian acting in this serial (Mohinder suresh) and later i got very much interested in the story
story is about people among us who has Natural gifts
Nathan - he can fly
peter - he absorbs others powers
clare - she is invincible
sylar(villain) - he knows how others powers work once he take their brains off
it has an awesome story line
there had been 2 seasons so far, now i am eagerly waiting for season 3
2,Avatar the last Airbender
I like cartoons, usually cartoons don't have a story but this one has a story after all...
Avatar - a person who can control four elements
Earth Water Land Air
This story happens in a world , there are four nations respective to the elements they can control
but fire nation attacked them and took over the world
avatar the person who is responsible for restoring balance is no where to be found
until oneday a water bender named katara and her brother soka found avatar ang , 12 years old boy frozen under water
once he wakes up, the hunt begins, fire nations wants him death
but ang have to restore balance and bring his honour back
It is really an intersting one, animation is nice
overall its time pass
3, Supernatural
Its about demon hunting stuff
2 brothers out there hunt down demons and save people from monsters
sam and dean , sam has all knowledge and dean has the attitude
chicks love him, he s good looking
i liked dean very much in this serial
nowadays this serial is becoming a bit not very much interesting
cause they keep showing demons and monsters, so got tired of it
but i just watch it for the sake of cool headedness of dean
otherwise i would have stopped watching it.

Movie Tomorrow Night
It is very boring to spend time sleeping at my house and using computers
SO me and marc planned of going to a movie "I am Legend" in INOX or Satyam
We tried getting tickets yesterday by online booking
but unfortunately all the tickets got filled up
we ended up thinking of going to any other movie
but since there are no good movies at this moment
we canceled the plan
But today, i booked 3 tickets for I am legend
Since my sister has Platinum card, we got a ticket free
that means, we just have to pay 150rs instead of 240 + 30servicetax
So tomorrow evening 7.15, we are going for "I AM LEGEND" in INOX
:)

i watched it allover again
"John Robert Crichton, Jr. (played by Ben Browder) is an IASA astronaut who is catapulted through a wormhole across the galaxy, thus setting the scene for the show as a whole. As the only regularly appearing human on the show he is the main focus and (arguably) the main character as he narrates the weekly credits and, thanks to a third season plot device (in which he was duplicated and the two Crichtons spent time on two different ships), he is the only character to appear in every episode.
At the start of the series John Crichton is an astronaut and theoretical scientist in his 30s. As the first episode opens he is setting out to on the space shuttle test a theory with his childhood friend, DK, while his proud father (Jack Crichton), who was also an astronaut in his younger days, watches. However, due to a scientific phenomenon he had not anticipated, the experiment results in Crichton traveling through a wormhole to a distant part of the galaxy, and by the end of the first episode he finds himself on the run aboard Moya with a collection of aliens who eventually become his allies and friends... I had lots of fun watching farscape
i was just not able to stop watching it
even after i watched all the 4 seasons
i watched it allover again

Driving Class : WASTE OF TIME
Cause of my mom's advice and continuous pestering
i was made to take driving class for 2 wheeler
Dont Laugh you guys
I know, it is crazy but what to do
My parents are allowing me to take my bike out
i used to ride Victor GLX, but my parents say
you should learn from a tutor to understand everything
anyways i ll say what happened there:
Since it was my first class, they gave me scooty to ride :(
I said, i can ride some gear bikes instead
but they said, there are no bikes available by the moment
so pls use this one today
Since they said it nice, i took that scooty
i rode wid it, stupid thing
it dont go faster
I thought there is clutch in scooty (thinking it as a bike absent mindly)
so it was funny, i used front break all the time
it took 4 rounds to understand that i am on a >100cc scooter
hehe
then i used it well
then he gave me sunny
this must be end of days for me
i tried using accelerator , it dint even go half way
damn it
it made me frilling irritating
and that instructor shouted at me
saying that i am not riding well
he compared with another newbie
Give me a break yaar
this is too much
One cant be humiliated this much
first: driving class
second: scooty
third: sunny
Next time, kill me instead of giving me a sunny
i would rather walk and overtake that stupid thing

The Mist ???
I watched this new Thriller movie "The MIST"
It wasn't what i expected
I expected some scary ghost stuff but this ended with a "portal b/w two worlds kinda story"
Taking everything into account like
acting , script and music
Movie is good
People who are expecting emotional things more than scary things
will definitely love this one
cause it does have lots of emotions in it
Eg: The last scene was certainly a twist in the plot
But I expected it would happen ;)
The whole plot was designed with Thomas Jane(David Drayton) as the core
His family was not well explained, it should have been done to get involved with the story...
Overall This movie is fine
But for me, its not very much interesting
My vote goes for "I AM LEGEND"

PayPerPost - Way to Earn Money Without Real effort
I have been desperately running behind the sites who actually say you can earn more money by just posting
I tried Smorty and sponsored reviews, since they ask for Google page rank, i am unable to get approved, my friend marc told about this PayPerPost, i really dint show any interest when he first showed, cause i was just tired of signing into some site and waiting and finally one day they say your blog has not been approved, this and that must be done to be approved, change them and then post your blog again.
After my friend's continuous request to join under him, i joined and to my surprise my blog has got approved, even this post is an opportunity provide by PayPerPost. Actually the offer amount is 20$ , Thats real money.
And Speaking about the user friendliness, its 100%, i find it easy to navigate between the opportunities
And as a student, i find this an opportunity provided to learn new things, people get to advertise new things and i get to know, actually some ads they provided for my friends where quiet interesting, lets see, i might even advertise my site which is under construction with PayPerPost.
Friends using PayPerPost are vinod, marc,Bala and Surendran.I am not gonna say i have to wait till they pay cause my friends have already got paid several times. It is real and it is happening here. Now i have joined them, With the money i earn, i am planning to get a nice keyboard.
So People enjoy blogging and earning at same time :) with PayPerPost

I AM LEGEND
Hi Everybody
I watched this movie "I am Legend" yesterday
i mostly don't feel like writing nowadays but this movie
was a master piece , i cant stop thinking about this movie
so am here writing about it
here it goes
Robert Neville, a scientist is the only human alive on earth
with his friend Samantha (dog). This movie is about his everyday life
after a virus spread through the world and which only Neville proved to be immune to it
somehow,
The people infected by the virus becomes less than animals
just feeding on blood and flesh and unable to come out in the sun light
Just like VAMPIRES
Neville keeps radio broadcasting, "If anybody is alive, i can provide food, shelter and security" in a hope that someone might be alive
And in the mean time, he tries to find cure for this virus
and he is close to it
He is mankind's last hope and is the best hope...
this is all about the story line, to say about the acting
i wish i meet will smith in person
it was a mind blowing performance
so much of emotions shown in the movie
it really made tears come from my eyes at the scene in which
he kills his own infected dog with his arms
and his eyes, man it was so full of sorrow
his last companion gone forever and loneliness
Hats off my dear friend :)
And this is a wonderful movie if you like to watch real stuff
but if you like the comedy flicks , then it is not the movie
CG is fine, i think its okay
ppl say that , they should have shown more, but what i think is
what they have shown is good for the movie
Robert Neville is an Legend, we are his legacy ;)
thats all folks
Enjoy the movie

Love
Why do ppl love?
a,
when ppl feel lonely, they love cause they have no one
b,
when everyone around them loves, they do
c,
when sexual interests becomes high, they do
d,
when a person already loved a person and had a breakup and
feels like having the same care again, they do
What is love actually?
Love is a emotion like anger, which needs 2 ppl
male and female
male and male(hehe)
female and female(;))
every lover's deepest thought is sex
in the outer side, u can feel care
to say rudely
"Its all abt having sex"
How ppl get loved?
When a person begins missing u, then its the beginning of love
there is no pt in it bt it still happens ;)

Become a Kid, Can u???
Have anyone thought about enjoying life???
Then the answer for the question is "Become a kid"
Kids asks lots of questions,
they see everything in a new view
they seek answers and that makes them happen
A boy once asked me why does the fan rotates???
hehe
i usually say "if it doesnt , i ll change the fan"
thats usual me
but kids want to learn things everyday
Sages and kids are same
A person who lives every minute and enjoys every single thing as if
he/she is born right now is a sage/muneeshwaran
When a kid grows up, he/she gets used to the things so he/she stops
enjoying the things which he/she once felt wonderful and miracle of life...
So become a kid to enjoy this life

Who Am I???
Hi Friends,
I would like to talk about something that we are lacking
That is "I"
Have you ever noticed anything in your life???
you eat, you watch tv
have u ever questioned yourselves, why you are doing them???
Thats what am saying
we have turned ourselves into robots, who just do routine work
in this world...
okies...
let me ask u this
let us assume, u are a chain smoker
you are in a danger of life situation
you are unable to quit smoking
everyone asks you to quit it
you just say, you are addicted to it
is that a perfect answer?
you are not able to control yourselves
then how ll the people around you respect you as a human being
aren't we acting like animals???
Life is all about living, but we dont live it
we have just left it to go by its own accord
Eg:
First time, you learn guitar, you love doing it and you attain pleasure from it
But later, it becomes knowledge and you play guitar without full concentration over it
People ask, when i die, where will i go???
stupid question to ask if you ask me
You don't even know what you are doing right now
what good is it gonna do to you if you know about after life???
Enough with the accusing ,
now i ll just say what one should do to enjoy life
Do your job with full concentration,
Question yourselves about why you are doing a certain thing
eg:
you move ur hand here and there, see why you do that
you whistle , when a girl crosses by [;)]
understand and live
Thanks everybody for reading this,
I am happy that people can learn from my experiences

Wives (FUNNY)
I came across this mail in my inbox
its about north and south indian wives
read it and enjoi
Wives from North:
1. At the time of marriage, a north Indian girl has more boyfriends than her age.

Cappuccino Coast ;)
Suddenly the shoreline north of Sydney were transformed into the Cappuccino Coast. Foam swallowed an entire beach and half the nearby buildings, including the local lifeguards' centre, in a freak display of nature at Yamba in New South Wales.
One minute a group of teenage surfers were waiting to catch a wave, the next they were swallowed up in a giant bubble bath. The foam was so light that they could puff it out of their hands and watch it float away.
Boy in the bubble bath: Tom Woods, 12, emerges from the clouds of foam after deciding that surfing was not an option
It stretched for 30 miles out into the Pacific in a phenomenon not seen at the beach for more than three decades. Scientists explain that the foam is created by impurities in the ocean, such as salts, chemicals, dead plants, decomposed fish and excretions from seaweed. All are churned up together by powerful currents which cause the water to form bubbles. These bubbles stick to each other as they are carried below the surface by the current towards the shore. As a wave starts to form on the surface, the motion of the water causes the bubbles to swirl upwards and, massed together, they become foam.
The foam 'surfs' towards shore until the wave 'crashes', tossing the foam into the air.
Whitewash: The foam was so thick it came all the way up to the surf club
'It's the same effect you get when you whip up a milk shake in a blender,' explains a marine expert. 'The more powerful the swirl, the more foam you create on the surface and the lighter it becomes.' In this case, storms off the New South Wales Coast and further north off Queensland had created a huge disturbance in the ocean, hitting a stretch of water where there was a particularly high amount of the substances which form into bubbles. As for 12-year-old beachgoer Tom Woods, who has been surfing since he was two, riding a wave was out of the question. 'Me and my mates just spent the afternoon leaping about in that stuff,' he said.
'It was quite cool to touch and it was really weird. It was like clouds of air - you could hardly feel it.'
Children play among all the foam which was been whipped up by cyclonic conditions.

Speeding up your Firefox!!!
1. Type "about:config" into the address bar and hit return.
Scroll down and look for the following entries:
network.http.pipelining
network.http.proxy.pipelining
network.http.pipelining.maxrequests
Normally the browser will make one request to a web page at a time.
When you enable pipelining it will make several at once, which really speeds up page loading.
2. Alter the entries as follows: Set "network.http.pipelining" to "true"
Set "network.http.proxy.pipelining" to "true"
Set "network.http.pipelining.maxrequests" to some number like 30 (mine is set to 100..hehehe).
This means it will make 30 requests at once.
3. Lastly right-click anywhere and select New-> Integer. Name it "nglayout.initialpaint.delay" and set its value to "0".
This value is the amount of time the browser waits before it acts on information it recieves.
If you're using a brodband connection you'll load pages 2-30 times faster now.

Safari
Safari is a web browser developed by Apple Inc. and included in Mac OS X. It was first released as a public beta on January 7, 2003, and a final version was included as the default browser in Mac OS X v10.3.
A beta version for Windows was released for the first time on June 11, 2007.
12 Reasons you will love it.....
1.Blazing performance.
The fastest web browser on any platform, Safari loads pages up to 2 times faster than Internet Explorer 7 and up to 1.6 times faster than Firefox 2.
And it executes JavaScript up to 2.8 times faster than Internet Explorer 7 and up to 1.6 times faster than Firefox 2.What does all that mean for you? Less time loading pages and more time enjoying them.
2.Elegant user interface.
Safari’s clean, sleek look lets you focus on the web instead of your browser. The browser frame is a mere one pixel wide. You see a scroll bar only when you need one. You see no status bar by default — a blue progress bar fills the address field as the page loads — giving you more room to browse and view the web. And with commonly used tools like a Google search field built right into Safari, you can get anywhere on the web faster.
3.Easy bookmarks.
Safari makes it easier than ever to manage your bookmarks. Know iTunes? Then you know Safari bookmarks. One click opens the single-window interface, where you can browse, search, and organize bookmarks the same way you browse, search, and organize music in iTunes.
Importing your current bookmarks couldn’t be simpler. In fact, the first time you open Safari, it imports all your bookmarks from the browsers you’ve been using. And if you want to import bookmarks later, just choose Import Bookmarks from the File menu.
Safari even helps you find sites to bookmark. Using the innovative Bonjour technology, Safari discovers and shows devices such as printers, routers, and webcams associated with web servers on your local network — automatically.
4.Pop-up blocking.
Say goodbye to annoying pop-up ads and pop-under windows that clutter up your desktop and distract you from your browsing.By default, Safari blocks all unprompted new windows. You can open new windows when you click links, but you’ll get no surprises from unexpected, unwanted pop-ups.
5.Inline Find.
Now you can locate any text on any web page using the Find command in Safari. Type a word into the new integrated Find banner under the bookmarks bar, and Safari shows you the found count and highlights matching terms while dimming the page below them. So you can view every instance — in an instant
6.Tabbed browsing.
With tabbed browsing in Safari, you can open and switch between multiple web pages in a single window. Drag and drop your tabs to rearrange them, open one in a new browser window, or merge all your current windows into one tabbed window.Safari resizes each tab depending on the number you have open. Set a bookmark for a set of tabs or revert to the tabs that were open when you last closed or quit Safari
7.SnapBack.
With most browsers, it’s easy to lose your way on the web. You go surfing, and before you know it, you’ve drifted far from where you started. Stop hitting the Back button and start using SnapBack in Safari. SnapBack lets you instantly snap back to your original search results or to the top level of any website, even after you’ve browsed down a few levels.
The SnapBack icon appears in the search field after you click a link in a search results page. Clicking the icon takes you back to the results page and even scrolls to the specific location you last viewed.
SnapBack also works in the address field. Type an address, click a bookmark, or click a link in email or another application, and Safari creates a SnapBack anchor point. When the SnapBack icon appears in the address field, click it to return to that anchor point instantly. So, if you type in the address of your favorite news site, click a link to read an article, then click another link, the SnapBack icon will take you back to the front page of the original news site
8.Forms AutoFill.
Now you need never fill out an online form from scratch. That’s because Safari Forms AutoFill completes online forms with information from your Address Book or from previously completed forms.Let Safari fill in your name, street address, city, zip code, email, and other information. Safari also gives you the option to automatically enter account names and passwords — all stored in a secure, encrypted format.
9.Built-in RSS.
Scan all the latest news, information, and articles from thousands of websites in one simple-to-read, searchable article list delivered right to you. The built-in RSS (Really Simple Syndication) reader in Safari tells you when new articles or blog posts have been added to your favorite sites, so you never have to guess.
Whenever you land on a page that offers an RSS feed, Safari displays an RSS icon in the address field. Click it and you view the simple RSS feed. Bookmark it and Safari tells you how many updates have been added since your last visit. The RSS view in Safari is customizable, so you can adjust article length or sort and filter articles by date, title, and source. You can also use the built-in search field to find articles relating to topics of interest. All from one place: Safari.
10.Resizable text fields.
Maybe the text field you’re typing in is a bit too small to read. Or maybe you just have a lot to say. Either way, Safari lets you resize text fields on any website, just by grabbing the corner of the field. Resize a field and the web page reflows to make room
11.Private browsing.
Your browsing is your business. Which is exactly why Safari offers private browsing — to keep your online activities private. Turn on private browsing and Safari won’t store your Google searches, your cookies, the history of sites you’ve visited, your download history, or information from online forms you’ve filled out.
If you’ve been browsing without private browsing turned on, just use Privacy Reset to empty your cache and clear Safari of your browsing, forms, and search history. It’s a one-click clean slate
12.Security.
Now you can enjoy worry-free web browsing on any computer. Apple engineers designed Safari to be secure from day one.
For starters, Safari uses robust encryption to ensure that your private information stays that way. When you browse a secure site, Safari displays a lock icon in the upper-right corner of the browser. If you want to know more about the credentials of a secure site, click the lock icon and Safari displays detailed information about the site’s security certificate.
Safari supports SSL versions 2 and 3, as well as Transport Layer Security (TLS), the next generation of Internet security. Safari uses these technologies to provide a secure, encrypted channel that protects all your information from online eavesdroppers. And Safari lets you use standards-based authentication such as Kerberos single sign-on and X.509 personal certificates, or proprietary protocols like NTLMv2 to log in to secure sites.
Safari also supports a variety of proxy protocols — services that help firewalls control what flows in and out of the network — including Automatic Proxy configuration, FTP Proxy, Web Proxy (HTTP), Secure Web Proxy (HTTPS), Streaming Proxy (RTSP), SOCKS Proxy, and Gopher Proxy

Apple's fight against iPhone unlocks may result in expensive bricks
Apple will actively work against any SIM unlocks of the iPhone, says Apple CEO Steve Jobs. Jobs made the comments during a Q&A session that took place after yesterday's press event in London announcing availability details of the iPhone in the UK. When asked by a journalist whether unlocking was a concern for the company, Jobs said, "It's a constant cat and mouse game," according to ComputerWorld's account of the discussion. "We try to stay ahead. People will try to break in, and it's our job to stop them breaking in."
The break-ins that Jobs spoke of have been flying fast and furious in the last month or so. One of the first full SIM unlocks involved using a Turbo SIM card, a somewhat complex process for the average consumer. Then teenager George Holtz published a way to hardware unlock his iPhone with some soldering iron-fu and released instructions for other adventurous unlockers. But none of this was "big" news to the world until the first (commercial) software unlock of the iPhone was announced by iPhoneSIMfree. This sent waves through the iPhone community to push for a free unlock from the iPhone Dev Team, which was achieved just this week with the release of iUnlock, followed by the GUI app to go along with it, anySIM. This app began to appear in the third-party iPhone software update app, Installer, which enabled many iPhone users to install the unlock and experiment with ease.

RapidLeech! A cool script!
Well, Marc posted a Rapidshare solution on his blog, Here. I just gave a try.
First up, I tried on 9999mb.com, xlphp.net, 1500mb.com. All of the 3 accepted PHP files, but returned the same error ERROR OPENING SOCKET[rapidshare.com:80] I got frustrated.
Then I went into their forums, saw the guy who wrote the script, was using DajooB for a server. I went there, and guess what, they had no file size restrictions and limitations! I regged an A/c Rightaway, then uploaded the script in my FTP. Oh, an Important step is to CHMOD 777 the rapidleech folder..(Default is 755) then pasted a RS.DE Code, Had to wait for 100 seconds and there ya go! The script started downloading at 645KB/s. incidentally Rapidshare’s maximum download speed is 2 MB/s. So no trouble at all!
My failed attempts:
http://pastmaster.9999mb.com/rapidleech/
http://pastmaster.xlphp.net/rapidleech/
http://pastmaster.1500mb.com/rapidleech/
Try to set an account at dajoob and try it out guys! Its uber-swet method!

BSNL 2 mbps Upgrade - Hot Topic!
I can observe that BSNL 2 mbps upgrade has become a Hot topic nearly in all Tech Forums, blogs etc. Here is the LINK to one such discussion. Apparently, expectations are very high that Existing plans will remain the same, except for the upgrade in Speed.
By the way, Vinod has given some interesting info that I am not aware of. Is it necessary to change routers for this upgrade?

Sex lighter dealer arrested in Kerala
The wholesale dealer of a sex lighter was arrested in Kottayama yesterday for selling the product which was reportedly selling like hot cakes among school students.
Kottayam superintendent of police S Sreejith said: “When the lighter is lit, a picture of a lady in a compromising position pops out.”
Priced at Rs 15, the lighter was very popular among schoolchildren. The matter surfaced when a schoolboy gifted the lighter to a girl in his class. The girl’s parents approached the police and they tracked down the wholesale dealer.
Wonder if anyone of you has managed to get his/her hands on the sex lighter. Sounds like a sexciting product though definitely not for school children.

Saddam Hussein
Saddam Hussein, 69, was sentenced to death for crimes against humanity in ordering the deaths of 148 Shia residents of Dujail, north of Baghdad, after an assassination attempt in 1982.
An appeal is due to begin immediately and deliberations are expected to last one month although no date has been set to announce the final decision.
If the nine-judge appeals panel upholds the verdict, Saddam Hussein will be hanged within 30 days of its ruling.
President Bush calls it, “a major achievement for Iraq’s young democracy and its constitutional government.”
In Iraq, some are celebrating it and some are protesting….

MUZIC
My 2500 watts audio system was lying unused simply because it was such a bother to burn MP3s to CD and then to play them on it.
I thought of a much more comfortable way to listen to music with it. I already had a jack that lets me use ordinary headphones with my phone. And I had the correct cables to interface the phone and the auxiliary sockets of the audio system so I did.
Now I can use the phone’s display, playlists and media library for a much more comfortable experience. I have Rammstein playing in the background. The 1 GB memory card on the phone helps too.

Vista
Microsoft announced that Windows Vista, the next version of the Windows OS, is set to be released on January 30, 2007.
Lets hope that this is the final date and it does not get delayed again. It is after five years that Microsoft is going to release the next version of its OS. XP was released five years ago.
The minimum requirement for Vista is a 800 MHz processor, 512 MB RAM and a DirectX 9 class graphics card.
To enjoy Vista’s high-end features, a 1.0 GHz processor, 1 GB main memory and an Aero-compatible graphics card with at least 128 MB graphics memory and supporting the new Windows Display Driver Model will be needed.
Nooooo…. My RAM is 256MB and my graphics memory is 64MB. What a bad luck…

DON
After Dil Chahta Hai and Lakshya, Farhan Akhtar’s remake of the 1970s hit Don is set to release this week. While the original version featured superstar of the day Amitabh Bachchan, remake has the one and only King Khan Shahrukh in the central roles. The film was written by Farhan’s father Javed Akhtar with his partner and Salman Khan’s father - Salim Khan.
The craftsman Akhtar says it’s for sure that the new age ‘Don’ is going to be one hell lot of a roller coaster ride! Priyanka Chopra, who has been getting the best of the projects launched this year got this one too in her kitty and did the Zeenat Aman act.The promos are very stylish and exciting. The film is bound to generate comparisons and judgments.
I saw its trailer and its awesome. I am waiting for this movie.

India WinZ>>>
Well Finally India defeated Pakistan in India after 24 years I think. The series ended 3-2 for India. I guess it was mainly because the Pakistan side was weaker one in this tournament. Once again Sachin missed his century and this time by three runs. Last time he missed it by one run. This is the 6th time he missed his century in this year alone. Total number of times he got out in 90s moves now to 16!!! Its the highest number of times. The second highest is 9 times. Well Sachin is indeed creating records in everything. He by this time was supposed to have 48 centuries or so. Well I guess Sachin likes getting out in 90s. His shot that gave his wicket to Pakistan when he was in 97 was not the shot that a player usually plays when he is in 90s. I guess he was desperate to score the century and thats why he went for that shot. He could have left that delivery. Well India should think of surviving in Australia when they play against them in Australia. Already they are punishing Sri Lanka with everything they can. The new opener for Australia PA Jaques is doing the job of Langer. Lets see if India can win there.

F1 RACE!!!
Kenneth pointed out the Force India F1 Team website in a Twitter update so I decided to check it out.
The page loads with a rather dull intro and the actual page is decent looking. Nothing fancy. The tricolour animation on the menus was a bit silly.
Force India F1 Team
Even though the team is going to flop badly in the next season (all new teams do) it is still nice to see India competing in such an expensive international sporting event. The only other team to have the name of a country in its name is BAR (British American Racing). Now we have a home team to cheer, even though the only things Indian about the team are its owner and its name.

DSP!!!
DSP. Also known as the Degree Stopping Paper (since you just can’t pass the damn thing).
I had such a hard time studying for it. It was a vile mixture of filters and signals and functions with formulae thrown in here and there to make the whole thing more painful. See Vinod’s post here. It was literally painful studying for the subject. I was sitting with the book open well past midnight unable to concentrate for even two minutes on the subject.
So not worth it, man.
Bastards.
What possible use could I have for DSP? I will never use it in my life. My career is not going to suddenly require a knowledge of signal processing. I’m in the computer science stream for a reason. To learn about computers and software engineering processes. Not electronics. If I wanted to learn electronics I would have taken ECE or EEE!

Sony W810i
My old cell Nokia 1100 (more than one million of it were sold and its still being used by many around the world) had some problem. I was unable to talk for more than 15 or 20 minutes whenever I used to get calls from someone even when the battery charge was full. After 20 minutes it shows battery low. So I decided to change the cell. My brother was telling about buying motorola razr for a long time. But I insisted him to go for this model because I knew that he will give the cell after few months to me as this happens usually. So I went through some models and finally decided to go for Sony W810i. Its really a nice model with cool features. I have to download games and some themes for it. I am checking its features. Its not that difficult while typing message in Sony. Just one problem compared to Nokia 1100 is that its taking a bit more time as the keys are very near to each other. Camera is nice and the interface is good. Well I guess i wont use it for sometime. My bro gave me on the very first day. Then he said he’ll use it for few weeks or months and will give me later. :)
Click here to check its features.

International Students’ Day
It seems today is International Students’ Day. I never knew this ;) . I was just going through wikipedia just a while ago and I came across this. But it seems some universities celebrate it some other day because of some political reason. I don’t know whether Anna University celebrates it. I am sure our college wont celebrate it ever in future also. I’ll be surprised if our college celebrate even a small function where students can enjoy for a while.

printf statement
printf statement plays lot of tricks with those who are always new to the C programming language. Consider the following statement which I was informed when I was doing my second semester
int i=5;
printf(”%d %d %d”,i,++i,i++);
The output predicted by most of the students is usually 5 6 6. But this is not the actual output for this statement. The printf statement usually is handled by the compiler from right side to left side. So it starts from i++ first. Here the initial value of i is 5. So when it reaches i++ statement the value remains the same (its a post increment) and the next step is ++i which is pre increment step and the value of i becomes 7 (coz the i++ increments the value of i after it reaches the next step i.e. ++i). So the final value of i is 7 here.
But while printing the printf statement executes in the normal fashion as we expect it to execute. So it prints the value of i first followed by ++i and finally i++. So the actual output for this statement is 7 7 5.
For those who know this please dont mind about this post. For those who dont know this hope you find it useful (though mostly all will be knowing it ;) But still many dont know this coz I’ve asked many about this and many still struggle in this).
I’ll ask an important question in the next post which i think many C program lovers will like.
Cheers!!!!

interesting facts and programs related to C programming.
Here are some interesting facts and programs related to C programming.
* We all know that to print something in the output screen we have to use printf statement and a printf statement statement ends with a semi-colon according to the syntax. But to print something in the output screen without using semi-colon we can make use of if statement with printf statement. Try executing the following code in Turbo C after including the header files.
void main()
{
if(printf(”Hi”))
{
}
}
The Hi given inside the printf will be displayed in the output screen. Since I didnt use the getch() statement, you’ll have to press alt+F5 to view the output screen. I’ll post few other small programs later which you may find useful for debugging competitions in other college symposiums.

Three things I hate in Firefox
Well, there are three things that I don’t like using firefox.
1. It takes 5 seconds to open when system is booted initally. Opera took 1 second.
2. Firefox’s download manager SUCKS! Opera’s download manager is no better though.
3. MEMORY HOGGER! MEMORY PIG! Firefox eats up 120 MB RAM when I opened 10 tabs! Opera took only 35 MB!!
The best thing I like about Firefox : Support for Extensions and Java scripts.

You need to pay and download their firefox that has HEAVILY high system requirements!

Prince of Persia
Prince of Persia, an awesome game has three sequels, “The sands of time”, “Warrior within” and “The two thrones”. I am at present playing “Warrior within” because “The sands of time” is not working in my system coz my system does not support that game but supports the other two.
“Warrior within” is really a cool game. Give it a try. The graphics is good, music is good and the moves made by the prince is really cool. Its worth playing. here are some pictures from the game “Warrior within”.

HP 7 Lands
I think mostly everyone would have finished reading The last book of Harry Potter series. The final book was not as expected. I expected her to tell what happened to harry and others after the dark lord died. She didnt mention what happened to the death eaters after the dark lord was killed by the boy who lived. She just stopped it without any proper ending. The epilogue was even worse. I expected her to tell what was harry’s profession at least in the epilogue. But there also she failed to tell what was the profession of harry and others.
I was reading The Hindu dated August 1, 2007 on the next day and came across the following (sorry for posting this so late. I’m very lazy and was busy with symposiums conducted by other colleges). So the profession of harry and others is given below.
->Harry was named head of the Auror Department under the new wizarding government headed by his friend and ally, Kingsley Shacklebolt.
->His wife Ginny Weasley, stuck with her athletic career, playing for the Holyhead Harpies, the all-female Quidditch team. But she left the team to raise her three children-James, Albus and Lily-while writing as the senior Quidditch correspondent for the wizarding newspaper, the Daily Prophet.
->Ron Weasley joined her brother, George, as a partner at their successful joke shop Weasley’s Wizard Wheezes.
->Hermione Granger, Ron’s wife furthered the rights of subjugated creatures, such as house-elves, in the Department for the Regulation and control of Magical Creatures before joining the magical law enforcement squad. their children names are Rose and Hugo.
-> Luna Lovegood becomes a famous wizarding naturalist who eventually marries the grandson of Newt Scamander, author of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.
These informations were given by J.K. Rowling herself in her chat with Dainel Radcliffe.
